Boxco Kitchen

When we set out to build a modern plywood kitchen for ourselves, we knew we wanted to do something unexpected, especially when it came to the colors we chose. We decided on a monochrome palette, matching the cabinet color to the concrete countertops to create the look of a single monolithic shape. The hue that we settled on was a dusty, salmon rose – a color which is modern, unique and warm. We love materials with visual texture and so using lime plaster for the walls was a natural fit. The figure of the burnished plaster adds drama despite the minimal style of the space.
