White oak veneer plywood sheets cut on the CNC machine

Our design ethos centers on using the finest, ethically sourced materials in an honest and simple way. We craft our cabinetry from sustainably manufactured premium veneer-core plywood, with options for door fronts in either plywood or high-performance MDF. By focusing on both beauty and functionality, we ensure that our high-quality products not only perform flawlessly but also stand the test of time.

Premium Plywood

We use plywood for our cabinetry because of its exceptional strength, durability, and natural beauty. Plywood is an incredibly versatile material, and with the high-quality grades we use, the exposed edge layers become a feature of the design.

We have carefully curated a selection of innovative plywood products that we trust for our cabinetry. For our cabinet boxes, we use Garnica Plywood, which features a reinforced core made from fast-growing tree species such as eucalyptus and poplar. For our plywood doors and drawer fronts, we use high quality hardwood veneers over a Baltic birch core, renowned for its stunning 13-layers of solid birch that provide exceptional stability and strength. All of our plywood products are formaldehyde-free, void-free, and sourced from sustainably managed forests.

High Performance MDF

We also work with Medex®, a superior strength and water-resistant MDF that, when finished with our natural wood wax colors, has a beautifully dynamic visual texture.

Medex is engineered with a unique formulation of moisture-resistant, low-emission resins and 94% pre-consumer recycled wood content. This composition makes it highly resilient to swelling and warping, even in humid environments such as kitchens and bathrooms. Medex is milled by Roseburg in upstate Washington using sustainable manufacturing processes.

We particularly recommend Medex for low-traffic areas of the home, such as bathrooms, laundry rooms, and built-ins, where its water-resistant properties and refined appearance make it an ideal choice.
