At Boxco, we offer four distinct door finish styles to suit your design preferences: Clear-coated Natural Wood Veneer, Color-finished Wood Veneer, Color-finished MDF, and High-tech Laminate.

Each door is hand-finished with natural wood waxes, ensuring consistent quality and lasting beauty.

Natural Wood Veneers

Choose from a selection of premium hardwood veneers for your plywood door fronts, including Maple, Birch, Walnut, and White Oak. If you’re looking for something unique, feel free to ask about additional veneer options. All plywood doors have a superior-grade Baltic Birch core and are hand-finished with a durable, clear wood wax.

Color Finishes

Our core palette includes 12 colors, which can be applied to maple veneer plywood doors or high-performance MDF (Medex) doors. Since the pigments and oils interact with the two materials differently, each color in our palette has its own distinctive look and visual texture. Osmo® wood wax is our go-to finish for cabinets due to its high-quality make-up and natural ingredients. Unlike many traditional cabinet paints that use petroleum-based solvents, Osmo® wood waxes are derived from oils such as sunflower, soy, and thistle. These natural oils deeply penetrate the wood, enhancing its durability and providing a beautiful, translucent color finish while preserving the visible grain of the plywood. These wood wax finishes are non-toxic, resilient, easily cleaned and safe for the environment.

Laminates

Our selection of high-tech laminates, enhanced through nano-technology, offer superior scratch and fingerprint resistance. With a soft, matte finish, these laminates are available in a range of elegant, muted colors. The laminate is bonded to a 13-layer Baltic birch core, and the edges are hand-finished with a clear or color wood wax.

Fenix® is one of our preferred laminate vendors, valued not only for their high-quality materials but also for their commitment to sustainability. Their production facility follows environmentally friendly practices, including recycling materials, reducing water consumption, and utilizing energy-efficient processes.
