Warm, Modern Craftsmanship – Custom Cabinetry for Lyme Cottage

For this retreat in Lyme, we partnered with Block Design Build to create custom cabinetry that blends modern simplicity with natural warmth. This minimalist guest cottage features maple veneer plywood cabinetry, finished with white Osmo wood wax, enhancing the home’s bright and serene feel.

In the kitchen, our cabinetry provides a clean, airy foundation. The Osmo finish allows the wood grain to subtly show through. With seamless storage, the space stays uncluttered and efficient.

The bathroom vanity and storage follows the same material palette, creating a sense of continuity. Its simple design keeps the space functional while maintaining a minimalist look.

A standout feature of this project is the built-in daybed. It includes firewood storage and deep drawers, combining comfort with practical storage. The design integrates effortlessly into the living space, offering both a cozy retreat and added functionality.
