We collaborated with the talented team at PRŠIĆ & PRŠIĆ to build two Scandinavian-inspired kitchens for a multi-family home renovation in Providence. These kitchens strike a perfect balance between minimalist design and practical functionality, making them ideal for modern family living with their thoughtful storage and durable materials.

The first kitchen highlights clean lines, natural textures, and sustainable plywood materials of the highest quality. Each custom cabinet face features a clear wood wax finish, which enhances the warm, organic tones of the maple veneer. This finish pairs beautifully with the rich hardwood floors and the soft, natural light that streams through the oversized windows.

To ensure the space stays organized and uncluttered, we incorporated thoughtful storage solutions. Slab-style cabinet fronts with integrated pulls emphasize the modern, minimalist aesthetic while offering effortless usability. The paneled appliances integrate seamlessly into the cabinetry, contributing to the kitchen’s cohesive and streamlined design.

The muted blush concrete countertops bring a playful yet refined touch, creating a subtle contrast with the natural wood tones. Meanwhile, open shelving enhances the light and inviting atmosphere, adding both practicality and visual interest.

For this project, we also designed a custom banquette base to match the kitchen’s warm and welcoming aesthetic. Crafted with the same sustainable materials as the cabinetry, the banquette provides extra seating and hidden drawer storage. It’s a functional and stylish addition that perfectly complements the overall design.

The second kitchen within this multi-family home renovation made us fall in love with Fenix laminates all over again. These laminated Baltic birch cabinets feature discreet ledge pulls, which keep the cabinet faces clean and streamlined. The exposed plywood edges introduce a subtle layer of warmth. Additionally, the client’s bold color choices, thoughtfully selected plumbing fixtures, and abundance of happy plants bring personality and charm to the space.
