Scandinavian Kitchen Remodel
Stratham, NH
In collaboration with BLB Design Build, we proudly crafted custom cabinetry for this Scandinavian-inspired kitchen remodel in Stratham, New Hampshire. The cleints desired a larger, more functional space for prepping, cooking, and entertaining, all while maintaining a cohesive, minimalist design. Our design focuses on clean lines, natural tones, and sustainable materials. The sleek slab-front maple plywood cabinets are finished with a durable, eco-friendly wood wax, enhancing the minimalist aesthetic while supporting environmentally responsible craftsmanship.
The cabinetry was designed with practicality in mind. We maximized storage and counter space while maintaining the kitchen’s modern European elegance. One standout feature is the bifold door coffee hutch. This innovative design stows away small appliances, mugs, and other coffee essentials. When open, the hutch provides a convenient space for the homeowners to prepare their morning brew. When closed, it keeps the kitchen clean and clutter-free.
The kitchen island offers both beauty and functionality. It features a peg system in the drawers for plates, a spice and oil pull-out, and seating for up to six people. Adjacent to the custom-paneled fridge, a pull-out pantry provides easy access and organized storage. To complement the light maple finish, we added black-painted drawers for contrast, creating visual interest and breaking up the materials. Fascia fillers connect the cabinetry to the ceiling, providing a sleek, finished look.
