This stunning project was the vision of interior designer Raisa Sandstrom and her partner. Based in Boston, Raisa and Andrew were searching for a Western MA getaway to make their own. The result is a colorful, eclectic plywood kitchen featuring modern maple kitchen cabinets that blend charm and functionality.

The space also features House of Hackney wallpaper, cherry paneling, and elegant unlacquered brass fixtures. A massive antique island, sourced from the Brimfield Antiques Market, adds character and history. Together, these unique finishes pair beautifully with our Scandinavian-inspired cabinetry, which adds a natural warmth and elegance to the design.

A striking wall of custom orange pantry cabinets adds a bold pop of color to the space. To achieve this vibrant hue, we carefully matched Farrow & Ball’s Dutch Orange mixing Osmo wood waxes, creating a unique, custom finish for the cabinets. This distinctive color brings warmth and energy to the room while maintaining the natural beauty of the wood. The modern maple kitchen cabinets blend seamlessly with the bold orange, creating a perfect balance of vibrancy and subtlety.
