How To Order Boxco
Working with us means receiving dedicated support from our team throughout every phase of your cabinetry order, from Planning to Installation. We begin with a complimentary design consultation, and if we’re aligned, we proceed to the Planning Phase. Read more about our process below.
Ordering Process
Planning (2-3 Weeks)
To get started, please fill out our Estimate Form and include a dimensioned floor plan, photos of your space, and any sketches or reference images. We’ll use this information to create a complimentary cabinetry configuration and pricing estimate for you to review. If you have any questions or need more information before we begin, feel free to email us at info@boxco.studio or book a design consultation.
Not sure when to reach out? We recommend starting the process with us 4 to 6 months before you’d like your cabinets delivered.
Customization (4-10 Weeks)
During this phase our design team will work with you one-on-one to bring your dream cabinetry to life. To move forward, we require a $1500 deposit, which is applied to your total cabinet cost. During the customization phase, we’ll finalize your layout, finishes, accessories, and all other interior cabinetry components. If you’re local, we’d love for you to visit our studio to see our cabinetry and finishes in person. If you’re from out of town, we’re happy to send you samples!
Production (8-12 Weeks)
Once the design is complete, we’ll move on to building your cabinets. You’ll receive a final set of drawings to approve with your installer or contractor, along with an invoice for 50% of the final cabinet cost. This payment secures your slot in our delivery schedule. The production phase typically takes 8-12 weeks, starting from the receipt of your production payment and signed drawings. After that, we’ll give you a precise delivery date window.
Need your cabinets sooner? Production can be expedited for an additional fee. Contact us for more info.
Delivery & Installation
It’s time to meet your new kitchen cabinets! One week before delivery, we will invoice you for the remaining balance of the cabinetry cost. Your cabinets will arrive fully assembled and ready for installation. After delivery, we will bill you for the final delivery payment.
Boxco cabinets must be installed by an experienced installer or finish carpenter. If you’re located in the New England or New York areas, we can recommend a skilled installer. We provide a detailed installation guide to ensure a smooth process, and our team is always available by phone to answer any questions you may have during installation.
