Design Process
Working with us means you will receive dedicated design support through every step of your project. We begin with a complimentary information session to introduce you more thoroughly to our offerings and confirm we are a good fit for your project. If we are in alignment, we move into the Planning phase. Our design process focuses on how you'd like to use your space and how you want it to make you feel.
Planning (Complimentary)
You’ve been introduced to our cabinetry and services by our sales team and Boxco feels like a great fit for your project! To get started with the estimating process, send us a floor plan, photos of your space and/or sketches of an initial design. Or, if you need more guidance, you can schedule a 45-minute design consultation with one of our designers. We will then create a design and estimate for you to review.
Design Development (Initial Deposit)
You’ve reviewed the estimate and are excited to detail your dream kitchen with the help of our design team. We request a $1500 deposit to begin this phase and with your project confirmed, we will dive into design. We will discuss layout, finishes, accessories and any other cabinetry design details. We recommend that you come visit our studio to see samples if you can, or we can ship them to you.
Ordering (50% Production Payment)
We’ve completed the design and it’s time to build your cabinets! You will receive a set of final drawings to approve and an invoice for 50% of the final cabinet cost. On average, cabinet production takes 8-12 weeks from drawings approval and production payment. We will provide an exact delivery date once these steps are completed.
Receiving and Installing (Final Payment)
It’s time to meet your new kitchen! Please review the Installation Agreement to ready yourselves and your contractor for cabinet delivery. The remaining balance of the cabinetry cost and the delivery fee is due before the delivery ships. Boxco Studio recommends that your cabinetry is installed by an experienced installer and/or finish carpenter.
